They were introduced to the many roles of radio including advertising, communications/media, and broadcasting. They were able to see each studio and even broadcasted live on WNBF radio! First up is Omair Wali! Omair was President of both Model United Nations and Students Against Destructive Decisions, and was a Broome-Tioga BOCES criminal justice student. After graduation, he'll be enlisting in the United States Army for a few years before pursuing his career in law enforcement.
His advice for incoming BHS freshmen is to pursue and take advantage of all the different opportunities provided at the high school! #BPatriotProud

🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT | We're kicking off our Senior Spotlights with Neveah Martins! Neveah accolades include being a part of National Honor Society, Vice Ppresident of student government, Varsity B Club, and more. She was also extremely active in sports, participating in cheerleading, basketball, flag football, and lacrosse at BHS.
After graduation, Neveah is heading to the University of Houston with an eye toward one day becoming a sports broadcaster with ESPN! #bpatriotproud
