Over at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, students all made their mark to show how creative they all are!
Jefferson students took part in "International Dot Day!" -- a global celebration of creativity and collaboration. They all read the book "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds, which is the story of a girl who begins a journey of self-discovery after a caring teacher challenges her to “make her mark.”
They then all made their own dots to display outside the cafeteria, as a reminder of how unique and special every single one of us are!
Since it began in 2011, more than 29 million people in 200 countries and sovereign territories have participated in International Dot Day. ◙
